2006
A somewhat less eventful year than its predecessor. Nonetheless, it brought heatwaves to Europe, Australia and the States, deadly terrorist bomb attacks that shook India, and the execution of Saddam Hussein.
Our year began with a 50th birthday party for Will’s Mum in January. We had a very musical month of May, with Radiohead in concert at the Hammersmith Apollo, followed by Eric Clapton at the Albert Hall which was even better than it sounds.
Our travels comprised a return trip to northern Minnesota in August along with the nephews and nieces who now numbered four.

They also included the traditional Kefalonian trip in September, when Matt went water-skiing and Will’s Mum tried parasailing.
